Fitness FAIL for smartwatches

I've been waiting for this watch for months, expecting it to really rival the iwatch in terms of fitness and smartwatch capabilities. nope The main reason I would wear them over a good analogue watch is for fitness. Its heart rate monitoring is terrible. I've set up constant automatic monitoring, but it only does that when I'm not moving, preferably about once an hour. It never works when I'm actually moving or exercising. Whenever I try to take a force reading at work, it gives an error over a clean sensor every time. If I sweat at all it doesn't work, kinda defeats the purpose. My old Fitbit HR had 10x better heart control and knew when I was exercising without even registering it. This galactic clock doesn't even know when I'm trying to register it. It just uses the heart rate from earlier in the day and thinks I've taken a few steps. I've tried everything except shaving my arm hair to improve it. I throw in the towel. They are useless as a fitness watch, especially if you count calories like myfitnesspal. It's a decent smartwatch, but it can't type with hand-drawn characters like the iwatch. So if responsiveness isn't working or you can't use your voice, you might not be responding to the clock. The battery life is far from what is advertised. I have to charge mine daily. The only thing it does surprisingly well is sleep tracking, but if you wear it at night it won't last more than a day of eating. fitness tracking. Samsung's My Fitness Health app hasn't been sold yet. UPDATE: After several software updates, nothing has changed. Either way, it's worse. Sometimes when I look at the heart rate readings, I see that they are two days old. Can't stress this enough, don't buy this for fitness only buy for smartwatch features. I would love to return this watch but once I realized how poor it is as a fitness watch the return window was closed. I love Samsung products (phones, tvs, tablets etc) but hate to talk about them, this is Samsung's biggest disappointment (and I used to have an exploding Note 7). I can try Garmin or give up and buy an iPhone just for iWatch.
