It works out! for Heater Control Valves
Replaced the dual valve in my 7 due to NO HEAT in the cab. The exchange went smoothly. I would recommend taping a towel in the engine bay between the twin valve and valve cover to catch the minimal antifreeze that spills out when you change it. Leave the hoses pointing up after disconnecting them (one at a time) and you shouldn't lose much coolant. After that, I turned on the car and almost immediately warmed up again! Will evaluate more this winter (Southern Virginia) and see how it holds up. Although so far so good.
