A portable laptop with many useful features. Seriously. Despite the fact that I have never purchased any Apple products, I found myself in desperate need of one recently. It's shocking to me how pleasant the experience is to use. It's great to just stare at the screen; it's beautiful and the experience of looking at it doesn't fatigue the eyes. Never assume that a gadget that wasn't made to play music will do so nonetheless. Yet even this took them by surprise. Very loud, and the quality of the sound is excellent. Subwoofers can't be crammed in there, thus the bass isn't as strong as it could be. The efficiency and user friendliness of the interface are fantastic. It feels like you have an alien device in your hands after using a cheap, ancient laptop running Windows 8, which woke up even worse than I did. The battery can go for a few days on a single charge, even with heavy use (6 or more hours a day). The likes of this don't seem to exist anyplace else. Ease! Compare that to my previous machine, and you'll see the huge weight difference. It can be carried around with minimal effort. Every aspect of the trackpad has been carefully considered, and I haven't felt the need to purchase a mouse since switching to it.
