Review on KidCo G3011 Configure Gate 80 inch: Versatile and Secure Child Safety Solution by Kara Hall

I was very excited about this door as we were looking for a door to match our kitchen opening. This opening is 77.5 inches long. So a gate that says it fits 80 inches should definitely fit. It's not like this. With the wall brackets screwed on and the gate straightened, it measures only about 75.5 inches. Short hair only. So I'm wondering how they claim it fits an 80" hole when it can't even get close to a 77.5" hole. Unfortunately, to solve this problem, you need to buy a 9 inch extension cable. With such an expensive goal, I would have expected more precise marketing in terms of length.
