A little annoying to use and set up. This is great for a very large opening, but I had to think of a few tricks to make it work and the door is difficult to get in and out of. I wish it was something more user friendly.

This is a great sturdy gate that I needed for my very active, very tall toddler grandson. I cannot speak before the meeting because my son did it for me. But it's far superior to some of the more fragile gates I've seen lately.

Just what we need. We have an opening just under 80 inches. It was the only style we could find that suited our space. It was easy to install, and even better, because we have ornate baseboards, we were able to customize the wall anchors. Others did not have this option. Very happy with our purchase and wish we had found it sooner =)

The gate does the job for me. It keeps my dogs in the kitchen. It looks decent and is easy to install. The gate closes on its own. It fits an 80" opening. Almost, more like 79 1/4", I had to add 3/4" boards behind the mounting brackets on one side. I fed them right through the 80" hole in the case. It is pretty weak.

We have an uncomfortable staircase that has no railing at the bottom. It was the perfect solution. We bought an extra small extension and now we can install it exactly how we wanted. It also looks a lot better than the gate we used years ago. My husband also installed it in less than 30 minutes and said it was very easy. Seems expensive but worth it.

I was very excited about this door as we were looking for a door to match our kitchen opening. This opening is 77.5 inches long. So a gate that says it fits 80 inches should definitely fit. It's not like this. With the wall brackets screwed on and the gate straightened, it measures only about 75.5 inches. Short hair only. So I'm wondering how they claim it fits an 80" hole when it can't even get close to a 77.5" hole. Unfortunately, to solve this problem, you need to buy a 9 inch extension…

Better 3-8 hours extra, lots of putty, long spirit level, ruler, felt pads, some kind of glue that won't damage the floor and walls, plastic ties and lots of gear and tools if you're using those stupid clumsy ones want to install gates. There's no wiggle room and it gets very wobbly unless you adjust it straight. If your walls aren't perfectly flat or vertical, you're in trouble. Another lazy engineering from another company that doesn't seem to have the will to do user experience testing…

The KidCo Auto Close Configure gate was one of three adjustable gates we tried and was a clear winner.
