Champions tend to be long walkers but from previous experience with this brand's braids I knew I could just cut them. It does not need to be hemmed, the edge does not slip. So did I! And they fit great and they're super comfortable, it's nice to have something light for the summer, but THEY ATTACK HAIR AND HAIR. Much better than any of my other black cotton items! So be warned. Undoubtedly, it is less noticeable in a different color. They have been washed several times, which is important with some fabrics, but it didn't work for these.
