Highly recommended: good value for money. Looks great, sounds good.

Okay, we've only got a few days of these so I'll update this review once we have a better idea of battery life and durability, but I have to say these are pretty damn good. We saw the Bose version at a local store and my review will be a comparison as these are the only two versions I've seen on the market and most people will be interested. So Bose sounded GREAT, but they were $200 and not very attractive in design. (They looked awful, had an ugly shape and lenses and didn't fit well.) I thought it would be a bit risky as this is a fairly new concept and the technology has to be complex to fit in a frame that does too is not difficult and works in terms of fashion. But they had a lightning deal, so I took a chance. Now I would like to buy a few pairs on this deal. So bottom line WOW, I'm really impressed! My first thought when we took them out of the box: They really do look a million times better than Bose. They sit better on the face and the lenses are much more effective. Apparently you can also somehow take the lens out and change the color as there was a clear lens in the box in addition to the polarized sunglass lens that was in the frame. Full disclosure, we didn't try this as we like the color they came with. So thumbs up for the looks, way better than the more expensive Bose alternative. In addition, they are quite light in weight. Construction and craftsmanship get a solid five. We've tried taking a call with them (they have a built-in microphone and answer calls like a bluetooth headset) and the technology seems to work very well. I didn't do anything other than a test call, but I'll update my review if we get negative feedback from callers in the future. As far as sound goes, it's definitely not as thin as the Bose, which is no surprise. I'll update this if I can do a direct comparison at a local store later, but Bose wins on sound. (That's no surprise given the brand's promise and the $200 price tag, right?) At maximum volume (which you presumably control on your phone), these OHOs worked well enough for listening and enjoying music, but definitely NOT on the loud side. They could be heard over the background noise in the lively open-air Fourth of July Festival restaurant we visited, but don't expect to be blown away if you're a music lover. Having the volume turn off a bit quieter was actually a positive for me as I bought these for my 10 year old. I'm glad they will never be too loud for their young ears! Now a word of caution, when you first turn them on there is some sort of audible "on indicator light" and it was LOUD and a bit annoying! Turn them on first and then put them on your head to avoid them. In short, I'm giving them 5 stars because they're exactly what I expected: they're a lot cheaper than the Bose alternative, they look better and still sound good enough, and the tech seems to work too. . Great job OHO, you got my recommendation from Park City, Utah.
