Excellent pitcher. Excellent customer service!

**UPDATE 08/19/18**: JCP Kitchen saw my review of uneven days and contacted me. They apologized and explained that the product is mouth blown and that sometimes happens. It's clear. They said they wanted to fix it and sent me another mug. I received a new pitcher and it is perfect. No uneven ground! What a great company! They took the time to contact me and fix everything. This is a rarity in our time. So I'm increasing my stars from 3 to 5 because this is a really great jug and the customer service has been fantastic. I will definitely buy other products from them knowing I am dealing with a reputable company with excellent customer service. puts. You know what I'm talking about! The jug arrived safely, which is useful if you order something made of glass. I noticed many others were talking about the thinness of the glass. I remember that it's borosilicate and should be durable. I have a granite countertop so remember to be careful when installing it. I put it on and notice that it wobbles a little. What the hell! I turn it over and it looks like there is a bubble at the bottom that looks like an imperfection. As if the whole floor wasn't completely flattened. I can take my finger and barely pull the handle back and it tilts back about 20 degrees before hitting the rim of the jug and then stopping. I'm nervous, wobbly glass pitcher, granite countertops, hot liquids! An inner question is starting to pop up in me, "should I send this back?” conversation, but I really hate sending things back, especially at this price point. So I decide to do a test run. I put the pitcher in the sink because I'm going to pour hot water into it to make tea and if it breaks well at least it's in there. Pour hot water from the kettle and hold, phew. I let it steep and then fill up the rest with cold water. Let's see if it wobbles under the weight of the water inside? Yes, it still wobbles a bit, but not as much. So I decide to keep it to myself because like I said I hate giving things back. I've had it for 3 weeks now and nothing has broken yet. However, I don't dare to pour water in it when it's on the counter because of the swaying. I just can't trust him. I have to be very conscious whenever I handle it. Let's see how long I can keep him alive. ADVANTAGES: Borosilicate glass, hot liquids can be poured into it. It's NOT plastic. The lid is tight and has a "sieve" to catch the tea leaves if the extra tea bag bursts. Looks very, very nice. **Updated** Great Customer Service! CONS: Imperfection in the base which makes it wobble a bit. I wish the glass was a little thicker. I would buy another one, POSSIBLE if I was sure the base was flat. I really want to give 5 stars because it has a lot going for it, but I'll give it 3 stars. **Updated** I give 5 stars because they sent me a new one with no defects and contacted me. This is a really great little jug.
