A year later... I love it even more than when I bought it.

This mug is amazing! I can't believe how strong it is for such a light weight. I use it EVERY day, so wash it, chill it, heat it, lift it, and serve it often. I like this mug a thousand times better than the fancy one I bought from Horchow. This pitcher just works! The lid is secure and always stays in place when pouring. Large universal jug

I've waited to check until I've used it for about 6 months. It's versatile as it's one of the few jugs that can handle hot, boiling water without breaking. I used it about 2-3 times a month to store hot brewed tea and keep it in the fridge. I bought the pitcher primarily for making iced tea. I have a hot water dispenser under the sink to fill the pot and then hang the tea bags on the rim. I needed a pitcher that could hold hot water near boiling point without breaking. The information on this product suggested it could work in temperatures from 0 to 300 degrees Fahrenheit, so I decided to give it a try. **UPDATE 08/19/18**: JCP Kitchen saw my review of uneven days and contacted me. They apologized and explained that the product is mouth blown and that sometimes happens. It's clear. They said they wanted to fix it and sent me another mug. I received a new pitcher and it is perfect. No uneven ground! What a great company! They took the time to contact me and fix everything.
