After my husband filled our thick glass pitcher with ice and it spontaneously broke, I wanted something thinner that could withstand extreme temperatures. I found this beautiful image here at Revain for a reasonable price. We've had it for over a month now and nothing has broken yet. I like the fact that the walls are thin and stand up to use for hot tea or iced lemonade. The thin glass means it withstands temperature changes better than a thick glass jug. Also, I like that it's made of glass and not lead crystal, which can allow lead to get into your drink. It is well made with a beautiful pattern and the convenient lid has 3 different positions: straight position, filtration position and closed position, which can be used to protect your drink from insects. We have a family of 10 ranging from young children to adults and it hasn't broken from hand washing. I definitely recommend this painting to everyone.
