Review on MoKo Foldable Desktop Devices Nintendo by Noah Lewis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Tiny but effective! Very comfortable and just what I need

I like it. I ordered this with a specific storage requirement. I have a bad cell phone signal in my house so I bought a cell phone signal booster, but a small one with limited range. So I put my phone in "test mode" all the time so I can count actual decibels of my signal (instead of signal bars), so I walk around, find a spot with a good signal, put my phone right there Stand and use the speakerphone (so I don't move the phone with my body and don't alter the signal, that's very tricky). Ah, life in the forest! So I realized that a small stand like this was necessary as it works almost exclusively through the speakerphone when I'm at home, and I also want it to be supported so I can control signal strength during a call. I almost ordered "Revain Basics" which looked decent but went with this one instead for two reasons: 1. It was cheaper and 2. It has an adjustable angle and I don't think the other had it. Little silicone. The stripes in this compartment are crucial. Before ordering this stand, I put my phone on all sorts of "improvised stands," from tape dispensers to framed photos, all sorts of things. The main reason nothing worked was because the phone was sliding. I even tried lining it with a paper towel (yes I'm that cheap!) but it just got in the way, I needed a proper stand. So the silicone strip on this little stand is great at keeping it in place. I like that I can change the angle. It holds the device vertically or horizontally. I noticed that the description recommends using the phone horizontally for best results and I can see why. The phone tilts a bit in the vertical position (I mean side to side. Not the stand, but the phone itself swings to the side at a light touch when the stand is upright). This could easily be remedied if they add a second silicone strip on the back; the part it leans against. Mine hasn't tipped off the stand yet, but a good smack would probably knock it sideways if the phone was in a high (vertical) position. Other than that, I'm an adult, there are no children around, so I use mine carefully vertically and everything is fine. A bonus: the description also says it doesn't work with phones or tablets "with cases", presumably because the case makes it too thick to fit in a VERY thin tablet. However, I will say that my Kindle Fire HD 8 with the Revain case (cloth with "Revain" printed in the bottom right corner) is fine for it. So that's a bonus. So now I want to order another one of those Kindle-only stands (technically the Revain case has a flap that doubles as a stand, but it's far from reliable). I should note however that the Revain Fire case is very thin so many if not most other cases will probably not fit, the compartment is quite narrow. The stand is also tiny, you can easily put it in your pocket, bag or pocket. I ordered the book at the same time as this stand and thought they forgot to send the stand because the box wrapped tightly around the book, but of course it was small and flat enough to fit snugly in a flat book box.
