Finally found a fan remote control kit with a small transmitter. I've included photos to show how I moved the wires to fit. This is the smallest fan mount I've ever owned so finding the right one is awesome. I had to disconnect the wiring and remove the fan from the bracket. (Tip: You can put the fan in an empty bag while transporting household wiring to avoid damaging the fan.) reinstalled. Reinstall fan. Insert the transmitter. Pull out the house cable on one side and the fan cable on the other side, connect to the transmitter according to the instructions, done. If you have a separate power wire for the light (usually red) you can plug it in, you don't need it, the light is powered by the wire (switch) for the fan. Then everything works via the remote control.
