I really like this mini air conditioner. Never had a fridge with two built in freezer compartments but it is very cold and lasts all night. I say use. Press the reset button on the top and take out both refillable water containers and freeze them. Put back after freezing, fill up with water and turn on. It is so easy. Very quiet with sleep mode in front and great price highly recommend
