Review on πŸ’‘ SnapPower GuideLight 2: 4 Pack LED Night Light for Outlets - New Version with Automatic On/Off Sensor by Jerome Pritchard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works fairly well - can be harder to install than advertised.

After reading some of the reviews on here I was a bit skeptical. But I ordered two to try - and they work very well on my outlets. However, I did learn a few things about her. Power sensors are not centered on the disk; They're offset slightly toward the bottom of the plate, so I had to flip my sockets to get them to fit properly; process that made me feel good. However, once I figured it out, the guides worked as advertised. They turned off in proper lighting; a dark room or hallway stops them. But it's no different than the interchangeable night lights they replaced. They are brighter than the old night lights, but I don't see that as a disadvantage. I ended up installing them to light the way. The only reason I gave them 4 stars and not 5 is because I had to reverse my outlets; an additional step that was not very clear in advance. This is probably not due to the devices - trying to find a universal product in this world of many manufacturers is almost impossible. I recommend them, but only if you're comfortable with 120v. Otherwise, it might be a good idea to find someone who is.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
