Bought for my daughter and it came in a lovely box that was easy to gift wrap. The feel was heavier than I expected, usually these joke mugs aren't very good quality, but this one had a nice thick feel that made it very easy to hold a hot drink. I didn't take it into account in my rating. but wish it had written on the bottom whether it was dishwasher safe or not - my daughter was concerned if we put it in the dishwasher the words would come off and I wasn't sure if it would be hand wash! Maybe a note came to him with that information, but by the time she used it and thought about it, we had already gotten rid of the box. Most items these days have this stamp on the bottom and I was sure it would, but there was nothing underneath. Again it's so small I didn't downgrade it - it's a really good mug!
