Expensive, durable construction.
Use this on my GMC Safari for a 50-54MHz NMO 1/4 Wave pin (53" tall). He's well built. smaller than usual, making installation much easier than traditional ones that require a 3/4 inch hole. Still, the design is decent, including a very nice mount that integrates into a solid mount. I will be ordering more for my spares box. Make sure your NMO antenna has a spring loaded button contact and not a flat contact like the cheaper models! Look at the picture to see what kind of antenna base you need to look for. KG0WX
