Exactly what I needed for my exterior soffits. This is a baffle made entirely of plastic. Some reviewers felt it was cheaper and wanted metal. If you live in an area near the coast or with high humidity, DO NOT buy a metal one, but buy a plastic one. My new house had metal ones and they all rusted in less than 2 years. Now I've replaced them all with this plastic. One lasted a year and still looks new. I have no idea why they use metal in new buildings on the coast. I live in Florida, near the coast and the salt spray of the ocean. The attached image on the left shows this new item, the one that has been in the middle for a year, and the original metal item that has been in development for two years. replaced. You decide.
