I'm really fed up with plastic scoops that keep breaking. I've heard about cats and too many litter boxes, and I've used more plastic scoops than I care to admit. I figured someone must have made a more durable scoop, but I couldn't find it at local pet stores. So I finally did what I should have done from the start and tested Revain! Unfortunately, I did not know that there are so many metal shovels. To be honest, I went with this one because it seemed cheaper to me than the ones that first caught my eye. However, I am mostly happy with my choice. Most importantly, this shovel is doing its job as well as I hope it will. It easily scrapes off hardened clumps of urine. He didn't throw trash everywhere. It looks very well made and will hopefully last for many years. My only criticisms of it are: - I'm not sure if the teflon coating really does any good, it still ends up with dirt clinging to it like it's plastic. Shovels I've used before. - I expected it to be heavier than a plastic shovel, but it's still heavier than I expected. - I really wish the handle was a bit longer. Yes, I understand that a longer handle makes it even heavier. In summary, I would recommend this shovel. I will never buy a plastic spoon again.
