The more I use this dish, the more I dislike it. Visually it is very appealing when everything is fresh and clean. But once that oil gets hot and starts to spread, this dish clearly has a problem. The lid sits right in the base that holds the oil. So if oil gets near the rim of the bowl it will now be on the lid and will transfer to where you drop the lid when using the oil. The glass handle can be slippery as hell (if it gets oil on it, for example), and now you're dropping a heavy, greasy, oily lid on the countertop. Or worse, precious oil. The only plus is that this thing is easy to clean, both by hand and in the dishwasher. But if it breaks due to the oil cap coming loose, I will not replace it. Of course, for those who are picky about keeping the lid clean, this is great. For those with kids and husbands who don't mind the oil on the underside of the lid, no.
