Diffuser too close to bulb to diffuse properly. The straps at the base of the diffusers don't really work properly as the attachment where they attach is tapered and just slides back and presses the face of the diffuser against the lamp. They give you a rubber band to fix it, but it actually only makes things worse. BUT, if you can gently prop up the diffusers so they stay in place and you never touch them, they give off a bright white burst in terms of even light. The lights themselves are compact and the legs, which you can slide back inside for travel, are cool. They seem really durable. For the price, however, they do the trick.
