I am a beekeeper and have many experimental beehive designs in my apiary. In honeybees, the body of the hive must be perfectly flat from side to side in order for the bees to perfectly stretch their comb into the frames. When the body of the hive tilts, the honeycomb obeys gravity and the hands remain in a jumble. In addition, when sugar syrup is poured into a hive, the hive must be perfectly level in all directions to prevent inward leakage. IMPORTANT. I carry them in my pocket and enjoy their size - 2 and 5/8 inches in diameter! So why not just use a bubble level? Ah, I tell you. I'm also experimenting with FlowHives and FlowSuper, which need to be tilted backwards to drain the honey. A backward inclination of 2 degrees is optimal for dripping honey from these beehives. These circular bubble levels are clearly marked in 2 degree increments which makes my job extremely easy. I am very happy with them and have been using them for several months at the time of this review. Clear, precise, large, practical. five stars for sure!
