Review on 🐴 Ya Otta Pinata Horse Pinata: A Fun and Festive Party Game for Children and Adults by Matthew Maxwell

Not the way I remember them.

Sometime between 1990 and 2012, piñatas changed. What used to be papier-mâché is now corrugated cardboard. Needless to say, the bat-wielding 5-year-old in this piñata took quite a while to destroy. My wife started using the traditional eye patch, but when we realized this thing required some abuse we dropped the eye patch. In fact, it was still quite amusing to watch as they took turns beating the snot out of him and trying to get at the goodies, but to no avail. It took them a lot more effort to open it than they should have and it almost brought some to tears because they couldn't open it. Although the piñata is surprisingly cute, any expectant parents of children under 10 who use this piñata may want to take a knife to it in some inconspicuous places to reduce the sheer force required to open it.
