Review on HEM Pack of 12 Assorted Incense Cones with a Total of 120 Cones (10 Cones Each) by Angela Lott

These are NOT actual reflux cones. I knew this before I bought them because nowhere does the description say they are reversing cones and the product photos show they are not reversing cones. Not sure why Revain's quest for backflow incense pulls them up. You can achieve the reflux effect very easily (seen in my picture along with my favorite tool) by drilling a small hole about 3/4" to 1" into the ground with a piece of about 2mm. After this hole is drilled I find that I actually get better reflux effect and generally less oily residue with these guys! I love scents but I can understand that some people find them overwhelming. They smell like soap, they're all in the same big box, but they're perfectly distinguishable when they burn. The strongest scents in my blend are patchouli, sandalwood, lavender and (predominantly) lotus, and to a lesser extent vanilla and moon. The only one I have trouble with is the Lotus which I would probably like if it weren't so strong. But overall they are great!
