Traveled across the country from California to Virginia unscathed. They are beautiful in person and have a high quality look. I've noticed some dish wear, but that seems to happen with cheap, flimsy cutlery, and the marks actually blend into the pattern on the gray set. We've used and washed them daily for the past few months and they've held up great. I will buy a second set.
