Review on Stack 100 Compostable Paper Plate by Richard Woods

Revainrating 5 out of 5

These trays are amazing!

I ordered these trays just after our state issued a stay-at-home order due to Covid-19 because I just couldn't keep up with all the kid meals I now have to deal with every day. I wanted something similar to a school lunch tray so the food wouldn't touch and could be composted. I took a chance with these trays and I'm so glad I did! They are so versatile and hold up really well! I have a kid who eats ketchup *a lot* with everything, so I fill the top middle compartment completely with ketchup and have had no problems dripping through the tray or ruining the tray. I've added veggies and fruits in other compartments to their own juices with fantastic results! I've also sliced lots of pancakes, waffles, and french toast on it with no problem! I had to help a kid with a craft this morning and decided to use one of these trays to keep things organized. It also works great for crafting! The only downside I noticed is that if you put something very hot in one of the compartments, there will be some condensation on the surface of the tray and the bottom of the tray is a bit soft in that area. Condensation isn't a huge issue for me and once that area on the tray is cool/dry the tray is just as strong as ever! It may take me a while to go through all of these trays but I will most likely be ordering more if we run out of what we have now!

Pros
  • 100% Sugarcane Fibre: The tray is made from 100% sugarcane fibre, a sustainable, renewable and biodegradable material. A great alternative to traditional paper or plastic, the disposable tray offers the same durable function and easy cleaning, but is completely free of wood and plastic.
