One of the pins inside was broken and the parts were in the box. Arrived just for my sister's birthday and I wasn't happy to find it broken. Luckily I have a woodworking workshop at home and I know what I'm doing. Repaired in 20 minutes, had to undo the cord and cut out a new pin to glue in place. I paid more for this reading which is not made in China but says right on the box. Made in China! I would give it a one star rating but so far I've scared someone really bad. Don't buy this without expecting it to need repairs. So many reviews that this item is broken. Maybe what about quality control? Oh yeah. Made in China.
