It took me a while to get the hang of this hair tool but once I did, WOW! I part my hair and wrap it around the wand from the bottom up, in the direction I want the curl to go. I hold it for about 20 seconds and then gently detangle my hair. I also use a stick at the roots to add volume. It helps to watch some YouTube videos to learn. This is for use on dry hair and will give your hair a heavy bounce and a professional bangs look. I really like this GHD Rise and I highly recommend it.
