My husband is a controller snob and likes the DualShock better. He gave up great PC games because he couldn't play them with his PS4 controller (I personally prefer the Xbox controller, but we don't have that argument anymore), so we tried UTAWO, which almost looked right. We primarily intended to use this for PC gaming, but also tested it on PS4. The controller connected to the PS4 wirelessly and worked like any of our other controllers. We couldn't get UTAWO to connect to a PC wirelessly (via Bluetooth or other wireless means) and there were no pairing instructions for that. However, the controller worked fine when connected to a PC via a USB/Micro USB cable. The wired connection was responsive, and our games (we tested the Outrider demo) immediately recognized it and changed the control configuration. If you're using a wired connection, you'll likely need a longer USB cable, as the included cable is only about 3 feet long. The controller is definitely stiffer than Sony's proprietary DualShock controllers. The chopsticks are hard, but nothing sticks. They may loosen with prolonged use. Key presses are precise and responsive. The overall in-hand feel is almost normal, although my husband insists that the UTAWO "feels a bit smaller" than the Sony. UTAWO's D-Pad looks like each direction is a separate button on the picture, but it's not - it's just a pitfall. It's a one-piece directional pad under the plastic. So if separate directional buttons are important to you (like on a Sony controller), keep looking. For the price, UTAWO is a decent alternative compared to the "official" DualShock controllers.
