I bought it to amplify the signal in a country house for the TP-Link Archer MR600 router. I specially took one manufacturer so that there would be fewer problems when setting up. Unfortunately, it works horrendously. The distance between the router and the modem is about 10m in a straight line (the router is on the second floor near the stairs, the amplifier is in the same place, but on the first), while on the first floor the laptop is able to cling to both the router and the amplifier, but if you cling through the amplifier, then 10-12% of the pings to the router are simply lost! What kind of Internet is there if the transmitter simply loses connection to the router itself? No settings help, such problems are in both ranges of the network - both in 2.4 GHz and in 5 GHz. The situation gets better only if the transmitter is located 5 meters from the router and there are no obstacles between them, even such insignificant ones as a wooden ladder, but even then there are ping losses of about 1% At the same time, the attenuation of the signal from the transmitter itself is so strong that it can hardly penetrate through the wall and it does not provide normal coverage of the house.
