I normally stay away from anything other than cotton after disliking some slick athletic materials. This blend is actually soft, though, and compresses enough to provide support. The front is not super tight like some sport briefs, so I don't feel like my underfellow is living his downstairs life as a pancake. It does allow for a bit of movement, but I don't think enough to cause chafing during sports. The look is also more aesthetic compared to the type that squish the buns into a single wall of shame. Overall, a good choice for general athletic use.
