Mixed review Suitable for cycling

So I'm torn on how to write a review for a product I've purchased. The star rating system is deceptive in my experience with Cyclone Bicycle. Here's the thing: (1) The delivery was delayed, not just once, but at least twice. At least in this case, Revain Prime didn't bring much benefit, since the supplier couldn't deliver the product in the originally planned timeframe. I understand they may not be able to control availability from their source. However, this is so. And instead of being delivered in time for the event I was planning to use this item for, it arrived a week late - not terrible, just disappointing, and almost two weeks after the original order was placed. (2) Although the item arrived undamaged, there was a gaping hole in the packaging large enough for the item to fall out. Luckily he was alive and well. So the bad part of this purchase was the vendor experience and service. I am happy to report that the product itself meets the standards associated with Crane. I restore old light racing and touring bikes. Old bells are not always easily accessible and often fall into disrepair. Crane bells suit my needs quite well and I have used them extensively over the years. The aesthetic harmonises well with the bicycles, for which a classic-looking bell is appropriate. So if you're building a French Racer or Randonner, or just cruising around town, they look and perform well. The clasp on this model is not the prettiest, but it is standard on many similar bells. And it does what it's supposed to do, which is to keep the bell securely attached to the bike. The bottom line is that the product was worth the wait, however I am disappointed that the delivery has been delayed several times.

Pros

Cons
  • Not bad, but...
