These brushes glide smoothly through my hair. I am constantly researching and buying different combs because I truly believe that a quality comb is an important part of your hair's health. These are some of the best combs I've tried. They don't tangle or unravel knots easily (start at the bottom of the hair and work your way up to avoid breakage). The teeth are also gentle on my scalp. During this cold season, static electricity is a constant problem for my hair. I can't say that these combs have changed anything in that regard, but for me it's not a determining factor.
