Review on Philips OneBlade trimmer QP2520/20, black/salad by Dorota Dudek ᠌

It is impossible to use, a bad product.

My attempt to buy this trimmer was unsuccessful since I did not intend to utilize it. The construction is straightforward, yet the cost for something so basic is obviously excessive. It costs the same amount to buy a replacement blade as it does to buy the whole trimmer. During the course of its use, I managed to drop the trimmer on two separate occasions; each time, the blade flew off, shattered, and was rendered unusable. I had no choice but to dispose of it. Everything is done in an extremely unreliable and flimsy manner, and it sits on legs made of thin plastic. Many people have voiced their concern that it does not provide a close shave. Because this is a trimmer and not a razor, it will not be able to shave all the way down to zero, despite what it says in the advertisement. This is quite normal. Although it might not be obvious to the naked eye, the surface of the skin will be rough, and a single bristle will still be there. People who shave their entire faces are the ones who are most likely to find success with something like this. Because I had a beard and mustache, I did not feel comfortable in this unit. It is difficult to penetrate the narrow spaces. It is inconvenient to trim whiskey with this trimmer because it does not shave in an upright position, which makes it difficult to choose the area between the mustache and the beard. Additionally, the blade is huge, which makes you feel like you are an elephant trying to pick a china store.

Pros
  • - a straightforward construction; - an hone that's simple to maintain
Cons
  • - extremely high prices for replacement blades; - fragility and unreliability; - inconvenient in terms of trimming the line of the beard and the temples
