I was a little confused as to what these clickers would be like, since they appear quite different than the "old fashioned" type I'd seen in the past. But they work the same way: push the button and what seems to be a little metal strip bends just right and makes a clicking sound. Button is pretty easy to push, the sound is plainly audible and distinct. I bought these to see if I could train my cat. We've only been working on it for a couple of weeks, but she definitely associates the sound with her favorite thing in the world: food. Time will tell if she's motivated to do what I want her to do in exchange for the food reward, but the clicker is doing its part in the game.
