On the lake? Kayak full of water? If so, you really shouldn't be reading this; you have much more important things to take care of right now. If your kayak is completely full of water and you don't know how to drain most of it, you should probably take a lifeguard course first. So if one day you've leveled your kayak and it's only 10-20% full of water, get back in - it might help to have a paddle float to help with that if you're on your own (I have one, and you? ) - Get your bilge pump and use it to drain almost all the remaining water. I say "almost" because there isn't much left. If you are picky, grab a sponge and also keep it in your bag to wipe away any leftovers. This pump works. I even use it when I rinse off my kayak after the weekend. Yes, I might look ridiculous pumping water out of my kayak in the middle of the lawn, but that's exactly how I love this little pump. Oh, and mine is orange so it's easy to find if I drop it on the grass.
