This was my first smart home device. My expectations were low. Pros: - Once set up, it's easy to use the app to control from anywhere in the world - Alexa integration works as advertised - You can still use an outlet to turn it on and off by flipping a regular switch - The color is warm and comparable to an incandescent bulb of similar color quality. Cons: - It was a bit of a hassle to set up, but after messing everything up, everything went smoothly - The scenes and programs you create in the app don't carry over to Alexa, so you have to repeat them all in the Alexa app for you plan on using Alexa primarily to control lightbulbs, just start here. - If you think you'll eventually get tired of voice control (it can get used to, especially when others are sleeping), then it's worth setting up Scenes and Programs in the Geeni app too, as it acts as a control panel for all your lightbulbs functions and is easier than doing the same thing in the Alexa app - the lowest setting of 1% on a lightbulb is still fairly bright, but sufficient for most situations-
