I needed 2 spare candle bulbs to replace 2 old lightbulbs whose plastic bushings were starting to crumble. The brass on these tubes wasn't as heavy as the 20's, but they look good and will perform well. I drilled small holes in the base and attached it to the window sills with #6 1/2" brass screws. It seems to me that the lamps are more reliable with the help of screws. Do not hold the lamps when the window is open, which can result in the bulbs falling and damaging the bulb and/or bulbs. I will be buying more of these as the old ones are failing.
