Review on 🖍️ Organic FILANA Beeswax Block Crayons: Non-Toxic, Handmade in the US, Rich Colors & Easy Glide by Amanda Castillo

I studied a lot of colored pencils. I have a four year old who loves to draw and anything art related. I also have a 1 year old so safety was important to me. We store our art supplies on a lazy susan in the center of our dining table for my four year old to color in until she's eaten and then color in afterwards and sometimes (if I let him) during mealtimes so they should be safe again. I like that unlike Stockmar these crayons are not made from paraffin but from high quality crayons made in the USA. I read a MamaS lead safe review and was concerned about the black and brown (I think) containing cadmium. I contacted Filana about this and they responded quickly. You took my fear away. I also read from another blogger who said she tested her Filana crayons for lead and cadmium and they were neither. I've checked out every crayon and feel very confident when my 4 year old uses them and he loves them! He feels special because I gave him such wonderful art supplies. I made vegan baby crayons for my 1 year old just because they are food based and he puts something in his mouth. As he nears 2 years and becomes more coordinated I will give him Filana crayons. The Phylan colors are a lot nicer and I also bought sticks which we love too! I know nothing is perfect, including the air we breathe, which is why we do our best to find quality "non-toxic" toys.
