The cables are swapped.

After trying the cable on my computer, it would not start. I noticed that the pins on the two ends are reversed. One end goes to 1234, 5678. The other end goes to 4321, 8765. Me. This is important. The product photos do not show this arrangement, but the cables are reversed. Look at you.
