This unit was a lot cheaper than the BMW OEM unit and it fits and works perfectly.
This unit was much cheaper than the BMW OEM unit, fits and works perfectly. Using the instructions on Bimmerfest.com, it took about 1 hour to replace. http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=648959 Unfortunately the tailgate latch is now starting to fail and I have to replace another unit.
