We ordered two of these, one for 42" and one for 30". 42 inch cap 5 stars. It fits the cage very snugly and snugly, there is no dangling tissue for our pup to grab and chew on, and the cage doors are easy to open and close with special openings in the lid. I love it. I give the 30 inch case 3 stars. It has only one door, which in itself is a slight disappointment. Worse, the dimensions of the (single) case door don't match the dimensions of the lid. my Revain Basics drawer door so I couldn't open and close the drawer door with the lid on (the LxWxH dimensions of the 30" lid are the same as the dimensions of the 30" Revain Basics drawer which is why I bought that But oddly, door sizes vary significantly.)
