If you've been looking for the perfect record clamp, look no further. I have had a few other clamps and weights and this is by far the best. It's a good weight, but not so big that it puts extra stress on your table's thrust bearing (unlike many plate scales). It uses a collet to grip the disc spindle and grips very well. Yes, it's not cheap, but most other decent clips cost the same or more. This is a quality product in every way and is the last clip I will ever need.
