Review on πŸ’» AMD Ryzen 5 2400G APU with Radeon RX Vega 11 Graphics - YD2400C5FBBOX by Andrew Dinelli

Very suitable for games on small systems, works cool.

This processor is working as expected. I'm not sure I can say more about that. Don't worry too much about overclocking your CPU cores. Worry more about working with a high-speed storage profile. For example, BIOS usually loads DDR with 2133 drain, but if you buy high speed memory like 2933 or 3300 or similar, you can enable higher speed in BIOS and it will probably give you 90% performance. speed up right there (compared to overclocking the CPU core) while consuming about the same amount of power as in a non-overclocked system. This really is the best option for this processor. The GPU is particularly sensitive to memory performance as it is limited by system memory bandwidth. So if you focus on buying high-speed memory (like in the 2966-3300 series) you'll get a lot more bang for your buck. I was able to test this in a few games, but since I'm not an avid gamer, WoW and GW don't need high-end GPUs. With two 4K monitors, I found the GPU worked well at 2560 x 1440, giving me a solid 30-60 fps (remember it's an iGPU), smooth and very comfortable to play at high settings. At 4K resolution I get around 15-30 fps, but it's not smooth and there's a noticeable input lag. That's not surprising as even high-end GPUs struggle with 4K resolution. Of course, the desktop works great in 4K. I am very happy with this processor. I have it in a Mini-ITX case and in a mobile device with Noctua air cooler/fan, and it's quiet and cool enough that I don't even need to connect a case fan (CPU fan yes, case fan no). . -Frosted
