I bought these for post surgery anterior hip replacement. It goes pretty low on the leg as to not rub on the incision. Still have bandage on but positive it will be soft on incision when I get the bandage off in two weeks! UPDATE! Been wearing these exclusively since hip replacement on 11/10. They are PERFECT! Surgery Bandage came off at 13 days and these are so comfortable. PLUS! I live in Northern Nevada so it helps to have extra coverage since this morning it was 19*! I plan to keep wearing them until shorts season when they may peek out.
