I have a small sign/shirt printing business. After my X-acto knife, this is my most useful tool. I have 36" and 54" straight edge aluminum rulers. They're great, but for small items I use Tim Holtz's ruler. Clarity and multiple markings are the best features of this series. Markup makes it a lot easier to align things. The metal rim is great too. Using a knife with a ruler would be impossible without it. I accidentally cut with the opposite side and the X-acto blade bit into the plastic. The metal edge solves this problem. I was worried about the lines wearing out but after about a year of heavy use there was no sign of wear. If you do complex work, I highly recommend this line. My only complaint is they don't make big ones!
