Review on πŸ“Ά Enhance Your Network Performance with CSI W33000 EZ Net by Eric Mueller

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Thin cheap bungee - not the way it used to be!

This is the second spider web like web I have bought. I purchased the first one right here at Revain on May 14, 2011 for $24.88. I'm in my kids scout troop and take them on hikes so I use the net 8 times a year for overnight trips and once a year for an 8-9 day trip to plan duffel bags, tents and sleeping bags in the back of my pickup. When I'm not using the net and tarp, I keep the net and tarp clean and dry in the garage with our camping gear. With the first, after several years of careful, occasional use, some of the bungee cords began to snap. That's fine, because the design of the web makes it easy to use another strand to secure cargo. But after five years enough threads had snapped and I needed a new net. I was very happy with the first mesh being five years old and loving the design so I bought a new one from Revain on April 5th 2016 for $23.54. The new net's bungee material was much thinner than the first net even though it was a repeat order from my order history and of the same make/model, the W3000 EZ Net. I considered returning it, but tried it instead, thinking that while the cords were a lot thinner (maybe 2/3 the width of the first mesh, or 2/3 the thickness of a standard rubber cord), they probably just work just as well would since I never had a great burden on them. God I was wrong. Some threads broke after a few uses. It seemed like every time I used the net another strand broke and a few more were about to snap where they were attached. This afternoon 1st October 2017 we returned from an overnight camping trip and that was the last time I used this network. I had to tie the pieces together to bring them home. Five years for the first network and a year and a half for the second with the same usage tells me that the quality has dropped dramatically. Stay away from it. Now I'm looking at other Revain offerings to choose another network.
