Great! We've only had them 3 days so can't speak to reliability (yet), but it's an inexpensive fix to a common problem. In our case, the task was to illuminate the stairs to the upper floor: light is only needed early in the morning or at night and only when we are out and about. The light and motion sensor only turns the LEDs on when needed and turns them off again 30 seconds later. Sophisticated technology: The housing is very compact and the backplate, which covers 3 AA batteries, serves as a holder. I used two small screws (instead of sticky pads) to attach the back panel to the wall and the unit snapped smoothly into place. Or step back to swap batteries. The only thing I could do differently is add an ambient light threshold adjustment. But I've been known to overcomplicate the ham sandwich. Update March 2021: I've placed my second order for this product and I'm still impressed. The new app is in the kitchen cupboard where our herbs and spices are kept. I attached the device to the shelf above and sealed the light sensor with a piece of electrical tape. This means that the light works independently of the lighting in the kitchen. As soon as you reach inside, the light turns on and stays on while you search for the right glass. When the door is closed, the light goes out after 30 seconds. Fabulous!
