These shoes were very comfortable and did not need to be "broken in" but they were sized a bit small. Because I needed the shoes the week that they arrived, I did not try to return them. Other than the sizing being a little off, I am very happy with the shoes.One other thing worth mentioning is that anyone buying these shoes should watch the YouTube video about how to use the buckle. I was really confused about the buckle until I watched the video and then it all made sense and was very easy to use!
