It was very easy to assemble (no additional tools required). Although there is a strap and wall mount, this one is so strong that we felt it was unnecessary. I thought of changing it to not include a hammock (that would be very easy to do) but the camera (black kitten) snoozed there for an hour after getting up. She also spent time in a cave dwelling. Cotton (white cat) LOVES the top perch and stretches well there. The top perch, which towers slightly over the rest of the tower, blends in perfectly with the windowsill. It's plush, they love scraping off bits of rope, and the spare fluffy ball they sent will never live because it was immediately accepted as a separate toy. Couldn't be happier with this scratching post.
