I think the shoes are ok. First, they were packaged in a New Balance children's sandal box. They were lightly wrapped in cloth with no cloth inside the shoe. Each boot appears to have a slight scuff, but the tread does not appear to be worn, however there is a small amount of glitter on the sole of each boot. I didn't feel any dents on my feet or toes in the shoes. so I'm not sure what's going on here. I plan to keep them as they are a spare shoe for school that wears out fairly quickly, but I pay full price for shoes that show signs of wear. this is quite frustrating for me. I bought another pair of Sauconys and they were tightly wrapped in tissue paper with fabric inside the shoes in the correct shoe box. I pay full price for that.
